Seamark Building
The Seamark Building is located on Island City, a man-made island in Hakata Bay.
It houses various offices and a "Cyber University".
It was designed by architect Kojiro Kitagawa, who I have not come across before.
It opened in 2008.

ReplyDeleteTruth = I much enjoyed them all.
Bonne Saint-Jean!

The effect of the wall behind the cars is that of a cartoon or trompe l’oeil. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that Japanese are more adventurous than Americans when it comes to architecture. I have a difficult time imagining this building being built in the U.S.
